About the club

Why the club exists

We are a casual co-op gaming group who wanted a chill place to hang out and meet people. Games - both multiplayer and single-player - are a great excuse to spend time with others, try new things, and switch off from the rest of the day. Checkpoint grew out of that idea: a low-pressure space for people who like games.

How our weekly gaming sessions work

Sessions are relaxed and pretty straightforward. Here's how a typical week runs:

• We meet once a week
• Set up any extra equipment we need
• Join a Discord call for people joining us online from home
• And play games! Usually for a few hours

Who it is for

We're a beginner-friendly gaming group - if you like games, come hang out and try it! No skill level required, new players always welcome. If you've never played the game before, that's fine. If you've put in a thousand hours, also fine. We just ask that everyone is patient, welcoming, and willing to have a good time.

The vibe

It's very simple: be respectful, have fun, and enjoy each other's company. We keep things inclusive and welcoming - no elitism, no toxicity. Mods and most glitches are fine, but please don't use cheats that ruin the experience for others. If you're ever unsure about something, just ask.
